Gun Control?

So the main topic of conversation amongst our political friends is gun control. I hate to say it but it is still easier to get a gun than to get an education! In this country, despite the numerous laws our government can place on gun control, it is still easier to get a gun. With the shooting that occurred in Aurora, Co was not based on gun control. That was a mere episode of hysteria and psychosis. However, gun control can be implemented by all of our politicians. Indeed we need it to keep order in society. But how can you truly control guns? How can our government control the black market when there exists corruption amongst our very own street cops? If the import of drugs have increased in this country, then how can our government control guns?

Perhaps the laws need to be religiously implemented. The punishment for guns owned without licenses need to be fully adhered to. In accordance to our amendments, we have the right to bear arms. That is correct, however, placing stronger punishments against those who own guns illegally should be punished. Nevertheless, this leads to another issue. If our government cracks down on illegal gun owners, then will our prisons become over crowded? The prisons are already over flowing with criminals, so what next?

No matter which way you look, how can we control guns? What type of laws should be implemented and who can we trust to carry out the laws successfully and with integrity?
