Insanity or an Act?

The massacre in Aurora, Co is simply another case of domestic terrorism. The need for an American to kill its own fellow citizens was horrific. The character of James Holmes, the shooting suspect, is still being questioned. As he sat in court today, you could see that either Holmes is really insane, or is acting to plead insanity. In my opinion, I believe that this former Phd candidate is not insane but rather a defense strategy for something he knows he committed. Now this is merely an assumption, but you can ask who in their right mind would do this? Well, perhaps Holmes fantasized about being the joker, and therefore, almost became a pathological liar. A liar who lied to himself that he was joker b/c he believed in the character of joker, to the point that he acted upon it? Well it is really difficult to tell what is going on in Holmes' mind. We can wait for the forensic psychologists to determine his "insanity" plea. I think it is an act that occurred out of an intelligent person, who had the desire to just kill b/c he wanted to be known as the "joker" of society.
