Tonight will be an interesting night as the world awaits what the British have to show with the opening of the Olympics. The British have done an excellent job with the new stadium and all the preparations that have taken place to make tonight and the games a huge hit. We must commend their efforts. There will be 2 surprises that the British will present to the world and I can barely keep my excitement down!
So with this fantastic news, we can only hope that the Olympics can bring all of us together. We can only hope that the Olympics can be used to unite people from various nations, spread kindness, fondness and appreciation for the athletes. We will of course root for our nation (or whichever nation you are from) but in the end we are all excited about one thing tonight and that is the Olympics.
With the current state of affairs that exist in the world today (i.e. Conflict in Syria, unrest in Egypt, economic downturn in Western nations, and the list goes on), at least we all have something look forward to. The Olympic games are exciting and will provide us with hopefully some sense of peace in our personal lives. Enjoy!
